Needle flex is worse if you push faster than the needle can lift out of the fabric. Also, slow down your hands and/or speed the motor. Also, check your timing that the hook is intersecting the scarf in the middle. So, reduce needle flex with a titanium needle in a heavier gauge. 1️⃣ when you move right to left, needle flex is bending the needle toward the hook, so the hook stroke is early and shreds the thread, or misses. why is this happening?
